Chamillionaire - Hip Hop Police ft. Slick Rick (single)

hiphoppolice_single_1.jpg

From Chamillionaire's second album entitled “Ultimate Victory”, his first single featuring the great Slick Rick is a hip hop chart-topper called “Hip Hop Police.” Producer Johnathan Rotem puts out a song that starts off sounding like a 50 cent joint and is sort of reminiscent of Chamillionaire's “Ridin'” single of last year (which featured Krazy Bone of Bone Thugs n' Harmony).

Rotem has produced for the likes of 50 cent, Britney Spears, Talib Kweli, Lil' Flip and even Trishelle of The Real World: Las Vegas. The track is catchy and appealing. I'm not sure if Russell Simmons or Slick Rick had any impact on Chamillionaire not using any profanity in the song, but it shows that you can make a good track without cursing. Let's see if it sells. With a "murder was the case they gave me" theme, Ultimate Victory should prove to boost Chamilionaire's superstar celebrity status.
