Wednesday, April 21st - Side FX joins the Grassroots Groove for a 1 hour EXCLUSIVE interview from 4-5PM.

About The Band:

Side FX is a six piece band that hails from Washington DC with an alternative pop sound that is all their own.

The band, who is well known for exploring new sounds and combining rhythms and beats that together offer the unexpected, have and continue to break traditional boundaries within the music industry.

In a short period of time, Side FX has accomplished what takes most bands years to do. The band is fronted by sultry singer-songwriter-designer Kim Cameron.

SG Presidential Debate

Tune in tonight at 7 p.m. for the Student Government Presidential Debate, hosted by Fresh Bull's Brendan Collett.

The debate will broadcast live from the Beef O'Brady's in the Marshall Center. Stop by to hear each ticket answer questions on their platform and their stance on the most important issues at the University of South Florida.

Under the Springs Film Festival

On Saturday January 23rd WMNF will be hosting the first annual "Under the Springs Film Festival". The Festival will include live music, art, food and of course, great independent films.

Admission is only $3.00 for all USF students and $5.00 for the general population. All proceeds will go to the Haitian Fraternity AQPsi that is currently doing great work in helping the people of Haiti from the recent earthquake disaster.
