The play of Javontae Hawkins, Zach LeDay, and Victor Rudd proved to not be enough on the road at Marquette, as the Bulls lost another game, 63-50.

Hawkins, LeDay, and Rudd each scored 14, 10, and 13 points respectively as the Bulls lost another Big East game to drop to 10-10 overall and 1-7 in Big East play.

The story of the game was once again the low offensive output. Turnovers at the beginning of the game were a big reason, putting the Bulls in an early hole that they could not completely overcome in the end. USF had 13 total turnovers.

On the other end, the USF defense caused 14 turnovers and only allowed 28 points in the first half. Yet Marquette would find some offensive rhythm in the second half as Golden Eagle guard Vander Blue would end his night with 30 points and six rebounds.

The Bulls starters combined for 42 points, although Toarlyn Fitzpatrick only had three points and Anthony Collins only two points to go along with three rebounds, four assists, and four turnovers.

Rudd would chip in most of his offensive output in the second half to end with 13 points, along with three rebounds and four steals.

While the Bulls did shoot 8-of-19 from 3-point range (42.1%), they overall only shot 27.3%.

The USF Bulls will play one more game on the road Sunday against the University of Connecticut Huskies, who are 13-5 overall and 3-3 in Big East play, before returning back home. The Bulls will be looking for their second Big East win.
