Lead singer Matt Burke’s clear vocal style sitting somewhere between Bob Dylan and Ben Gibbard serenaded the happy crowd. Dancing to Have Gun’s upbeat folk, the festival crowd built on its lively momentum. As the cloudless sky was reflected in the shiny Hillsborough River, concert goers danced on the grass of Curtis Hixon Park.Spring had arrived in Tampa. 

Have Gun Will Travel mixed a combination of old favorites like “Sons and Daughters of the Gilded Age” from 2010’s Postcards from a Friendly City with their unreleased Valentines’ special, “Finer Things”. Contrasting an upright bass and mandolin with guitars and drums, the Sarasota natives have a very developed folk rock sound.
