SG Presidential Election Invalidated

After an internal investigation by Student Government, the 2010 Student Body Presidential Election has been invalidated due to voter irregularities.

An expedited general election featuring all of the original tickets will take place sometime after spring break.

Run-off election needed to decide next SG president

A run-off election will take place on Tuesday, March 2nd and Wednesday, March 3rd between the Cohen/Diaz and Hernandez/Montgomery tickets to decide who will be the next USF student body president.

Students can vote at www.sg.usf.edu/vote

Obama's Town-Hall Meeting Signals a High-Speed Future for Florida

The line that stretched through North Boulevard on the campus of the University of Tampa could have been for a Black Friday sale. Or to see the latest pop sensation live in concert.

But this line was for President Obama, fresh from his State of the Union address the night before and kicking off a nationwide town-hall meeting tour right here in Tampa Bay.

The President and Vice President Joe Biden came to the Bob Martinez sports complex at the University of Tampa yesterday with an agenda ranging from health care to high-speed rail.

DUI Check Point

The University of South Florida Police Department will conduct DUI Saturation Patrols within our community on Saturday, December 26, 2009. This patrol will begin at 10:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 a.m. During this time, USF Police Officers will use this DUI Saturation Patrol to identify impaired drivers in an effort to keep our streets safe. Impaired drivers that are identified will face arrest and prosecution.
