Interesting Tid-bit

The Fall of GM started in the late 70s and 80s, when Japanese companies embraced Total Quality Management. TQM was an initiative set on by a guy named Demming. Basically, how I know the story is that Demming went to the big 3 American car companies first to present his TQM initiative, and they completely dismissed him. Thats when he went to the Japanese companies like Toyota and Honda, who embraced it. That lead to the rise of smaller and better built cars from Toyota and Honda and the demise of bolt busting beheamouths from GM Ford and Chrysler. Eventually this lead to the Domino effect we are seeing today.

If you would like to get more insight into the rise and fall of GM for another commentary, give me call. I am fascinated by whats happening right now and would like to help you anyway I can. Take Care
